Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival by flight at Delhi International airport.
Meeting and assistance on arrival & transfer from airport to hotel in Delhi.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra by surface (205 kms/3.5 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we will quickly do the orientation tour of New Delhi and leave towards Agra city.
Upon arrival in Agra, proceed for the lunch at local restaurant.
Later visit the Vishwanath temple also called the Golden Temple because of the Gold-Plating on its roof.
First, we will visit the majestic marble edifice, Taj Mahal. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance stands on the banks of river Yamuna. The architecture is considered as the finest specimen of Mughal style of architecture. The design & layout of Taj Mahal never fails to enrapture architects, engineers, historians as well as common man. (Closed on Fridays)
Later visit Agra Fort is among the finest examples of the fusion architecture that has dominated the Mogul period. The assimilation of these different styles has given the buildings within the fort a distinctive look. To name a few, for example, the Jahangir Palace built by Akbar is the most magnificent blend of Persian and local style whereas Divan-e-Aam mixes subtleness of Turkish exteriors with the complex pattern of Persian architecture. Babur stayed in the fort in the palace of Ibrahim.

Day 03: Agra - Sankasya - Lucknow by surface (380 kms/7 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we will leave for Lucknow city with en-route visit of Sankasya.

Day 04: Lucknow - Sravasti by surface (195 kms/4.5 hrs approx.) Sravasti
After breakfast, drive to Sravasti.
Lunch at hotel in Sravasti and proceed for the sightseeing of Sravasti which has the famous Anand Bodhi tree, an offspring of the one, said to have been planted by Buddhas main disciple, Anand. In the time of Buddha Sravasti was the capital Kingdom of Kosala. It is thought that Buddha spent 24 monsoon seasons in the Jetvana gardens here.

Day 05: Sravasti - Lumbini by surface [155 kms/4 hrs approx.]
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini.

The spiritual heart of Lumbini, Maya Devi Temple marks the spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama (Lord Buddha) in around 563BC while she was on her way to parental home. In the adjoining sacred garden, youll find the pillar of Ashoka, ancient ruin. Located outside the main compound, but easily accessible by bike, the impressive gleaming white World Peace Pagoda, one of the worlds greatest stupas, was constructed by Japanese Buddhists.

Day 06: Lumbini - Kushinagar by surface (160 kms/4 hrs approx.]
After breakfast, drive towards Kushinagar where Buddhists believe Gautama Buddha attained Parnirvana after his death. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. ManaperinirvanaTemple

After breakfast, visit Nirvana Chaitya located just behind the main Parinirvana temple, Buddhaslast journey led him to Kushinagar. Here at the age of 80 Buddha passed into Mahaparinivana. Buddha was finally freed from the eternal cycle of re birth leaving with us all the wisdom and knowledge of Muktabandhana stupa built by Malla dynasty to house Buddhas relics after the cremation.

Day 07: Kushinagar - Vaishali by surface (140 kms/4 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, drive to Vaishali with en-route visit of Kesariya.
Visit the Kesariya Stupa which is the largest in the world with the height of 104 ft attracts lots of Buddhist pilgrimage around the world. Excavated in 1998 the stupa is rare example of Buddhist architecture and archeological preservation. Stupa competes with that of Vaishali Borobodur (103 ft) in Java, world heritage site.
Vaishali was one of the Buddhas favourites retreats and he came here on many occasions. It was here Buddha delivered the last sermon, indicating that he would be soon departing from the world. Emperor Ashoka erected a huge pillar to commemorate the spot of last sermon. Around one hundred years after he died the second council was held here. Hundreds of Indian monks met in Vaishali to discuss the vinaya rules and to chant a sutra together. Today visitors can see a famous "Lion Pillars" which carved out of single piece of red sandstone and stands 18.3 meter high. Also of great significance are the two stupas which house caskets containing the ashes of the Lord Buddhas remains.

Day 08: Vaishali - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya by surface (220 kms approx.)
After breakfast, we will leave to Bodhgaya with en-route visit of Rajgir which means house of the king", was the first capital of the kingdom of
Magadha. Ruins of Nalanda University o First, we will drive to Nalanda which is one of the places distinguished as having been blessed by the presence of the Buddha; it later became renowned as the site of the great monastic university of the same name.
Later drive to Rajgir and lunch at the local restaurant
Visit Gridhakuta - Vultures Peak the place where Lord Buddha set in a motion his second wheel of law. Venuvana - Bamboo Grove, the cemetery is believed to be the site of the Venuvana Vihara built by Bimbisara for the Buddhas residence and Bimbisara Jail.
Continue your drive to Bodhgaya and upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
Animesh Lochan Chaltya: It is believed that the Buddha spent one week here looking towards the great Bodhi tree out of gratitude, without twinkling his eyes.
Chankramana: This marks the sacred spot of the Buddhas meditative perambulations during the third week after plous enlightenment. It is believed that wherever the Buddha put his feet lotus sprang up. Ratnagarh: The Buddha spent one week here, where it is believed that five colors came out of his body.
Other places to visit are 80 ft Statue of the Buddha, Lotus Tank, Buddha Kund, Rajayatana, Brahm Yoni, Srilankan Monastery, Buddhist Monastery of Bhutan and some other monasteries.
Late in the afternoon visit Sujata Village where Siddhartha Gotama was offered food by the young woman Sujata who mistook him for a tree spirit (Yaksha] whom she worshipped in hopes of obtaining suitable husband.

Day 10: In Bodhgaya (DANA)

Day 11: Bodhgaya - Varanasi by surface (260 kms/6 hrs approx.) After breakfast, we will drive towards Varanasi.
